A year ago today (26th May) we we lost my amazing Nan to cancer, and while the last couple of months were incredibly hard, I have no doubt they would have been even harder without the amazing support from Marie Curie. They were there to ensure Nan could stay at home and spend the end of her life with our family around her instead of in a hospital alone as so many people did through the pandemic. Therefore I will be running (at least!) 180 minutes in June to raise money to ensure other people who need their help can get it. Every £180 raised pays for a full shift for a nurse to be there and support a family in need. Joining me to keep me going will be my beautiful little pup Mabel, Nan never got to meet her but I know she would have loved her!
